Spring Fling!

Hello!!  Okay so this is what I've been working on this week.  I got selected to participate in an upcoming craft fair this March.  Woo Hoo!!  A little different though.  I don't get my own table.  They kinda put your stuff all over or where ever they think it fits in best.  Hmmmmmmm.....okay.  So I'm trying to come up with cute and interesting ways to contain and compartmentalize my stuff.  So I've been hunting down cute vintage display pieces.  I found an old jewelry box, and suitcase for starters.

Hair stuff here in this vintage jewelry case.

I made this cute little sign, I can use this in future shows too!

Little applique deer hoops for the show made with vintage bed sheets.

I have more pics but blogger is not uploading them for some reason.  You get the gist!  Hopefully I'll have more to share next week.  Have a good weekend!!

Bags & purses I love right now ♥♥♥

I've been on the hunt for a cute bag/purse pattern.  I want to make my own, brave...I know.  I've never made a purse before.  So here are a couple of cutie pie purses that I've been eyeballing.  I found this cute quilted one on flicker.  No link or pattern share on this colorful patchwork beauty.  But I'm sure I could find something!  You can visit the page here.

I found this adorable black and white gingham purse on Etsy.  She lined it with white fabric with little red hearts! So cute.

I found this little sassy purse on Pinterest.  I really like the fabric buttons on the flap.
She lined it with really cute coordinating fabrics too.  She has a free tutorial on this purse too!
So I'm thinking I'll try the last one since I can use the free tutorial.  Now to find the fabric..... I hope you are having a great week!

Lovey dovey...romantical...springy stuff

What I'm working on right now.  Thinking of all things springy and romantical.  Probably not a real word ....romantical.  It fits though.  So I'm getting ready to stitch this up.  I used vintage fabric, jean material and muslin for the hands.  This hoop was inspired by a real photo.  Spring works well with my style.  I love using bright pastels and vintage floral fabrics.  I just applied for another craft fair for the spring time.  Crossing fingers and toes.  Waiting to see if the jury picks me.  I hope so, I like have a goal to work towards, a mission of sorts.

Wishing you all a fantastic weekend!!  Hope to share my finished romantical hoop with you next week!
