Granny Bag & Ruffle Tote

Hello all!  Hope spring is treating you well so far.  Lots of rain in my parts.  I've been on kind of a purse kick the last few weeks.  I found a really cute and easy granny bag pattern on Etsy.  This pattern paired with some adorable Melody Miller fabric was a match made in heaven:) (for me at least).

 The first purse made from this pattern was a little small for all my stuff.  So I fiddled with the pattern and made myself an extra large.  I love this fabric.  Grey is one of my favorite back ground colors.  Those vintage dishes have me squishy at the knees.

I also found this super cute free ruffle tote tutorial.  Oh man, okay so I had to make this one too.  Can you ever have to many bags, purses or totes??!

I added some big pockets to the back of this tote.

I also added some smaller pockets on the inside.

This tote was so fun and easy to make.  Much too cute to classify as a tote, I would and will use it as a purse.  So I guess the rain can keep on coming.  It gets me in a crafty creative mood.

Cloud Mobile

It has been crazy spring weather here in California!! Right on cue for softball/baseball season. We have had such a mild winter up until now. Lately we have had a ton of rain. Today was perfect for making rain mobiles and some baking! Me and my girl got busy. Well instead of cursing the rain we are loving it.....we have motives of course. We love to garden! So we are going with the flow even if it's meddling with my girls softball schedule. Here's to a great week, rain and all!!

Row of cute feet

    What I stitched up this weekend, a row of adorable feet.  I love how all of these girls are all lined up together.  This was inspired by a real photograph hence the turned up toes and wiggly hands.  I love pictures of feet.  We have a family pic of all our feet on the beach and I just love that picture.  It is one of my favorites.  My kids feet are so small.  I think I need to stitch our family beach feet :)  I still need to mount this stitch up in a hoop with some cute fabric.

Spring Bunny!

 Just stitching up some super cutie pie delicious spring time bunny stuff!!  Well mostly I've been working on getting things done for my up coming craft show, but........I'm waiting.  On very important things shipping from China.  Holy moly.....it takes 3 to 4 weeks.  Well today makes 4.  I'm crossing fingers and toes it will show up in the mail tomorrow.  Any who,  I've been working on this cute bunny, a free pattern

Stitchy Inspiration!

I'm always looking to be inspired!  Sometimes I need a little dose of  another persons creativity to get me going on a new project.  Or maybe just to get me inspired to finish the project I'm working on.  I use Flicker a lot!!  They have a Embroidery group picture pool that is fantastic.  It is full of amazingly talented artists that share there wonderful works  of embroidery magic.  Here are a few links to some great stitch ups that I love:
